Look I drive from Metairie for this burger. It’s not close. But it is 100% worth it. The smokestack burger is my favorite. And beef bacon?! Let me tell you , absolutely AMAZING!
We walked in an hour from close and we were welcomed with open arms from Michelle (the front counter) and the kitchen staff, as well.
Smashed in Meraux takes burgers, smashes them like they owe rent, and serves them up so good you might need a safe word. The OG, Route 66 & Side Peace were all killer burgers but the masterpiece… The Smokestack—Double, American Cheese, Beef Bacon, Fried Onions, Pickles, Rufus Teague BBQ Sauce 🤌🏼🔥. Twisted Fries? So addictive you’ll fight your own family for them. Pull up, eat recklessly, and embrace the food coma.
This was my first time here at Smashed! It was DELICIOUS!! I had The OG, lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese and raw onion….and the buns!!!! So soft!!! A must try with their curly fries!!
I do not consider myself to be a “burger girl” BUT these…. Best burger I’ve had in a very long time!!! Cool people working here as well!! You should really come try this place out !!! The curly fries are really good too!! We demolished it lol

This place was good. I find it hard to find a good burger place in New Orleans. But this place got it right. I got the OG. The patty was seasoned well. Their SMASHED sauce, specialty sauce, boosted the flavor of the burger with out over powering. The size was filling. Their restaurant has a condiment section. They currently have limited time blackberry lemonade which was sweet and delicious, maybe too sweet. The restaurant was clean and calming. While music is playing, it’s not too loud that you can’t hear anyone. The curly fries were seasoned perfectly and fried crispily. PEANUT WARNING: They have a burger that includes peanut butter. I would ask about cleaning habits before ordering if you have a peanut allergy. Plenty of parking and easy to locate.
Yes! We finally got a good burger spot! More ppl need to know about this place. It was empty when I went in there but it was 100 percent fire 🔥. I will be back. I got OG Double Smash burger. It was 8.79 including the tax 🍔 😮💨🤤🤤🤤 10/10
